SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – As the use of artificial intelligence becomes a more popular tool in drug research, a scientific software company aims to one day use the technology to predict future medicines.
On average, developing a new medicine takes 10 to 15 years. Research and design company, Dotmatics, is helping accelerate the time it takes to create new drugs.
Phil Mounteney, Vice President of Science and Technology at Dotmatics, says, “today it’s like a really handy research assistant. Tomorrow it’s going to be a research partner…”
