Seahawks vs. 49ers picks against the spread

Jordan Mendoza: San Francisco 49ers (-2.5)

Both teams trying to stay relevant, the 49ers make the first step toward reasserting itself as a team not to mess with. Christian McCaffrey has nice welcome back after an injury-riddled season.

Tyler Dragon: Seattle Seahawks (+2.5)

I’m surprised the 49ers are favorites here. I expect San Francisco to start slow as they acclimate a new wide receiving corps and a revamped defense.

Christopher Bumbaca: San Francisco 49ers (-2.5)

Count me as somebody who is not a believer in the Seahawks this season. Count me as somebody who believes in the Niners this season.

Jon Hoefling: Seattle Seahawks (+2.5)

While Robert Saleh’s return could do wonders for San Fran’s horrid run defense a year ago, I’ll have to see it first to feel good about taking them against the spread. I’ll take the home team with a great running back corps and heavy run offense to defeat the 49ers for now.

Lorenzo Reyes: San Francisco 49ers (-2.5)

The 49ers are healthy and the Seahawks are rebuilding. I think this line is quite generous for Seattle.

Blake Schuster: Seattle Seahawks (+2.5)

What the Seahawks lack in quarterback play with Sam Darnold, they more than make up for with a stout defense and home-field advantage. I’ll trust Seattle’s run game here. A home dog in this rivalry game is just too much to pass up.
