San Franciso Bay Area has been rocked by a 4.3 magnitude earthquake waking residents at 2.56am local time on Monday.
The earthquake’s center was located close to the University of California, the US Geological Survey (USGC) said.
The USGC initially reported the earthquake was a 4.6, then said it was a 4.4 then revised it to a 4.3 magnitude which was a depth of 4.8 miles.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported there is no reports of any major damage and no one was injured.
Department of Emergency Management wrote on X, “While 911 received an increase in calls from people who felt shaking, there have been no reports of injuries in San Francisco at this time.”
