Willy Adames hit a first-inning home run on Sunday, the final day of the MLB regular season. It was his 30th of the season.

The 30+ homeruns means he has done it in back-to-back seasons, and for the third time in four seasons.
The first two times Adames hit 30+ were with the Milwaukee Brewers. This is his first with the San Francisco Giants.
This is also the first time the Giants have had a slugger hit 30+ home runs in a single season since 2004, when Barry Bonds did it.
With the blast, the Giants went up 1-0 on the Colorado Rockies. With a win over the Colorado Rockies, the Giants would finish the 2025 season at .500, with an 81-81 record.

Adames turned 30 years old earlier this season, and has been in the league since 2018. The slugger played 161 games last season for the Brewers, and will finish this season with 160.
