California entered into a new trade partnership with Belgium on Monday as part of a historic economic mission to the state, the first of its kind in more than a decade. Belgian government officials, business leaders and a member of the royal family joined Gov. Gavin Newsom in San Francisco’s Financial District to sign more than 20 agreements focused on industries including clean technology, aerospace, entertainment and artificial intelligence.
