WASHINGTON — The Washington Commanders obtained another top receiving threat on Saturday, trading their fifth round pick for San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel.

That character has the distinction of sharing a first name with the 29-year-old wide receiver, who was first team All-Pro in 2021.
Samuel will join Terry McLaurin as another top receiving threat for the Burgundy and Gold, as the team tries to build on both sides of the football ahead of next season.
