Farrell is slated to sign a three-year, $20.25 million contract with the 49ers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Farrell will bolster San Francisco’s depth at tight end behind George Kittle. The Ohio State product made 12 catches on 17 targets for 67 yards last season, his fourth with the Jaguars.
