San Francisco Giants 2025 home opener is coming quickly: How, where to purchase tickets

The San Francisco Giants have gone three straight seasons without posting a winning record and weren’t exactly aggressive in making improvements in the first offseason with former star catcher Buster Posey in charge.

Still, they put together the best spring training record in the majors, at 19-6, with two games left.

Shortstop Willy Adames was the big addition to the lineup after signing a $182 million, seven-year contract, but San Francisco is mostly returning with the same crew minus lefthanded pitcher Blake Snell.

The Giants are hoping righthander Justin Verlander has a bounce-back season at age 42 and that former Korean star Jung Hoo Lee is fully healed from a shoulder injury that cut his first season in the majors short.

The strength of the team in San Francisco is a deep bullpen, the durable Logan Webb at the top of the rotation and a strong hitting infield with Adames, Matt Chapman, Tyler Fitzgerald and 1B Lamonte Wade Jr.

Is it enough to compete with the big-spending Dodgers? Probably not, but the Giants are hoping it will be enough at least to get them into wild-card contention.

They’ll open the season this week with three games in Cincinnati and then head to Houston next week for three against the Astros.

San Francisco will play its home opener on Friday, April 4, against the Seattle Mariners. Game time at Oracle Park is 4:35 p.m. EDT.

Here are the sites where you can purchase tickets and the lowest price you can grab as of 7:30 p.m. EDT on March 24.
