NFL draft prospect arrives in Green Bay
Jihaad Campbell, a linebacker out of Alabama arrives in Green Bay for the NFL draft on Thursday.
The San Francisco 49ers are approaching the 2025 NFL draft in a position to improve.
After a 6-11 season, there has been plenty of talk about the 49ers focusing on additions to their defensive line, with the offensive line also potentially an area of focus. San Francisco GM John Lynch said on Tuesday that he sees plenty of teams trying to trade down, which may result in the 49ers more or less standing pat.
Lynch added that San Francisco sees this year’s draft as deeper than last year’s, an indicator that the 49ers could be looking to stock up rather than move picks for assets. However, draft day is never predictable, and any team that finished under .500 must be open to a wide range of possibilities.
