A former Arizona Cardinals first-round pick is signing with a division rival. Tackle D.J. Humphries, drafted in the first round by the Cardinals in 2015, agreed to a one-year deal to join the San Francisco 49ers.
Humphries might end up being a starter for the Niners. They have questions at right tackle.

Now 31 years old, he offers the 49ers tackle depth. As he joins a fellow NFC West team, he face the Cardinals twice in the 2025 season, including a homecoming trip to State Farm Stadium
