A look at their opponents before, after Cardinals

Taking a look at the teams the 49ers play before and after they face the Cardinals in 2025.

The NFL released its full 2025 regular-season schedule. We know the Arizona Cardinals’ schedule.

What we don’t readily know are their opponents’ schedules. In particular, it is good to know the teams their opponents play before and after their game against the Cardinals.

Since the Cardinals play two games each against their NFC West opponents, let’s have a look at their schedules and the teams they play the week prior and the week after.

Here is the schedule for the San Francisco 49ers.

Cardinals-49ers games

The Cardinals face the 49ers in Santa Clara in Week 3. The 49ers will have been on the road against the Saints, the Cardinals’ Week 1 opponent. Then they will stay at home to play the Jaguars.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals will have just played the Carolina Panthers at home and will have a Thursday night game staring them in the face four days later.

Later in the season, the Niners face the Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Week 11. They will have had a normal week of rest having played the Rams at home the previous week, and they will return home to face the Panthers the next week.

The Cardinals will have been on the road against the Seahawks in Week 10 and will stay home to face Jacksonville the next week.
