San Francisco Pride welcomes nearly one million attendees every year, and it can be overwhelming to find the right places to stay, eat, and relax while keeping close to the action. Fortunately, Hotel Nikko San Francisco checks every box on your list of Pride Weekend must-haves.

Hotel Nikko is located centrally in the city’s Union Square, making it the perfect home base for all your Pride plans this year. Plus, with this year’s Summer Pride Package, guests will get an incredible deal and feel celebrated during their entire stay.

“At Hotel Nikko San Francisco, Pride is more than a parade, it’s a promise,” said Hotel Nikko Commercial Director Jason Ngo. “It’s a promise to welcome every guest with warmth, to celebrate individuality, and to honor the city’s legacy of love and liberation.”

Making Your Stay a Celebration

Whether you’re taking a Pride staycation or in town for one of the world’s most iconic Pride celebrations, Hotel Nikko is rolling out the rainbow carpet for your San Francisco Pride visit.

The Summer Pride Package — covering Hotel Nikko stays between June 1 and 30 — offers guests the hotel’s Best Available Rate and waives the daily amenity fee, making this one of the best hotels you could pick if you’re ready to stay in San Francisco for Pride 2025.

Pride guests who purchase the package are also gifted extras like parking for one car and daily breakfast for two at the hotel’s award-winning Restaurant ANZU. Hotel Nikko also hosts Drive-In Cinema events, where guests can enjoy movies in the pool along with light concessions from 5:30-7:30 p.m. — “Miss Congeniality,” “The Birdcage,” “Mamma Mia!,” and “Legally Blonde” are scheduled for Pride weekend.

Hotel Nikko staff knows you have your choice of 2025 Pride hotels in San Francisco. That’s why they’re offering the Pride Package, which imagines Hotel Nikko as your launchpad for San Francisco Pride 2025, a home base where you’ll feel celebrated all month.

That’s the best part of spending Pride with Hotel Nikko: Your hotel isn’t just paying lip service to the LGBTQ+ community.

“From our inclusive staff training to our curated in-room experiences, we take care to reflect and respect all identities,” Ngo said. “Our team is diverse and welcoming — many of us are part of the LGBTQ+ community ourselves, and we extend the kind of hospitality we’d offer to our closest friends. You’ll feel that in every detail, whether it’s your greeting at check-in or the local recommendations we share.”

Celebrating Pride in the Heart of San Francisco

The great news about booking Hotel Nikko for your Pride celebration? Once you get back from the parades, bars, and shows, there’s still plenty of fun waiting for you.

Unbeatable Pride Hotel Atmosphere in San Francisco

Pride Package guests can enjoy two welcome cocktails in Hotel Nikko’s Kanpai Lounge, where you’ll also find exquisite sushi, Japanese whiskey, and sake. Restaurant ANZU isn’t just for complimentary breakfast — the Japanese-Californian fusion eatery also offers a refreshing afternoon tea and a Sunday brunch that will fuel your Pride Parade plans.

If you’re looking to pre-game a night on the town, swing by Feinstein’s, Hotel Nikko’s on-site nightclub. Late June acts include two nights with Cheyenne Jackson, a Broadway showcase from the American Conservatory Theater’s Young Conservatory, and a Pride Weekend drag show.

Of course, in your downtime, you’ll also enjoy access to luxury amenities like a 10,000-square-foot fitness center, a beautiful pool with an indoor-outdoor deck, and even an on-site hair salon.

Minutes from Pride Weekend Festivities

Out of all the hotels in San Francisco, California, Hotel Nikko is one of the most ideally situated — especially during Pride. When you venture beyond your luxurious accommodations, you won’t have to go far to enjoy one of the most iconic Pride celebrations in the world.

“Our goal is to make Hotel Nikko a hub for Pride, for guests, and for the wider San Francisco community,” Ngo said.

This year’s San Francisco Pride — themed “Queer Joy is Resistance” and marking the celebration’s 55th anniversary  — runs June 28-29, with weekend events planned just minutes from Hotel Nikko’s Union Square location. The June 29 Pride Parade is far from the only draw in a lineup that includes a street fair with artists and vendors, stages and performances from LGBTQ+ artists, and a party at City Hall (plus a full schedule of events in the days leading up to Pride Weekend).

Ngo also recommends that Hotel Nikko guests check out the June 27 San Francisco Trans March and the June 28 San Francisco Dyke March. While neither event is officially produced by San Francisco Pride, all three celebrations will unite attendees to celebrate visibility, diversity, and community.

Visitors will also find that the Castro District — San Francisco’s historic gayborhood — is just a quick tram ride up Market Street from Hotel Nikko.

No San Francisco Hotels More Perfect for Pride 2025

Ready to make your 2025 San Francisco Pride plans official? Check out the Summer Pride Package and book your most convenient, welcoming Pride Weekend ever.

“Whether you’re heading to the parade, relaxing at our indoor pool, or enjoying an evening at Feinstein’s, the Pride Package ensures your home base is as vibrant and welcoming as the city around you,” Ngo said.
