As a member of the San Francisco Giants, Devers will wear No. 16. The No. 11 that he wore for his first nine seasons in Boston has been retired by San Francisco for Carl Hubbell.

A Hall of Fame pitcher for the New York Giants from 1928-43, Hubbell won the MVP award twice and was a nine-time All-Star, amassing a 253-154 record with a 2.98 ERA.
Devers will be introduced as a member of the Giants on Tuesday afternoon. The Red Sox traded him on Sunday night for pitchers Jordan Hicks and Kyle Harrison and prospects James Tibbs and Jose Bello from San Francisco.
